The 2009 MLS Cup Final is set and two Western Conference teams are set to do battle as the Los Angeles Galaxy takes on Real Salt Lake at Qwest Field in Seattle. While Seattle fans are expected to pack Qwest Field for the event, MLS fans from across the country are expected to make the trip to the Pacific Northwest to take in the event.

Here's our question for you: Will you be making the trip to Seattle for MLS Cup? If so, let us know where you will be traveling from.

SBI will be in Seattle, and we are working with our fellow Designated Player websites to coordinate a gathering in Seattle on Friday night to stay stuned for more information on that.

For now, let us know if you will be making the trip to Seattle for the 2009 MLS Cup.

  2. Are you saying this because Columbus and Chicago both bunkered down against RSL and in the one playoff game where the opposing team did not put 10 behind the ball that team lost 3-2, by far the most goals in the playoffs this year?

If you are going to comment, then maybe you should watch the games. Just a thought.

  3. To watch another MLS 0-0 borefest? 120 minutes , zero goals? Real is going to play very physical. And no sign the Commisioner will stop it.

  6. Yes, you have uncovered the secret anti-Houston conspiracy widely held in the league. The inarguable proof is that they have won MLS Cup two times.

Next time, be sure to pull that tinfoil hat down a little tighter. After all, you never know when the black helicopters might come next.

  8. Ha ha ha! That’s so funny!

Hey, next time the Galaxy play the Red Bulls you should call them Magic Hats FC … I mean, there are a bunch of Jews in the city the Red Bulls are from, right? Wouldn’t that be funny?

  12. Cancelled my trip when Houston drew La Galaxy in 2nd round. I knew then that MLS would not have Galaxy lose, and one disallowed goal later my point was made. Thank you MLS for making me right. Enjoy your cup LA.

Glad to see you’re going to be there, Ives. One more trip out to the west and you might decide to permanently move there (but check out Portland before you decide exactly where) ;-).

  19. Every once and awhile the home fans fail to show-up for the Cup b/c their home team doesn’t make it. I never understood this as most of these fans would show up to a neutral exhibition or an international fixture. If the Cup is anywhere near my jurisdiction, I’m going!

So Seattle, Portland, Vancouver, Northern Cali, etc…go witness North American soccer history.

Can’t afford the 3000 mile plane ticket, plus one night in a hotel, plus game ticket, plus bar tab. I’ll have it in HD with a 6 pack on my couch.
