It appears a little bit of time on the bench has done DaMarcus Beasley a world of good.
Beasley followed up his impressive weekend performance by starting in his third consecutive game for Rangers vs. Dundee United on Tuesday. The midfielder once again had a stellar outing, scoring the game-winner, and adding an assist in Rangers' 3-0 triumph.
Beasely's stunning goal (which can be seen after the jump) was first his since the 2008 Scottish Cup final, and pushed Rangers past Celtic for first place in the Scottish Premier League standings.
Beasley was one of several Americans Abroad in action on Tuesday. Here is how the rest of the Americans Abroad performed:
ENGLAND
- Brad Friedel started, played 90 minutes and made two saves in Aston Villa's 2-0 win vs. Sunderland.
- Brad Guzan dressed but did not play in Aston Villa's 2-0 win vs. Sunderland.
- Jonathan Spector dressed but did not play in West Ham United's 3-1 loss vs. Bolton Wanderers.
- Marcus Hahnemann started, played 90 minutes and made seven saves in Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-0 loss vs. Manchester United.
- Jemal Johnson did not dress in Milton Keynes Dons' 4-1 win vs. Hereford United in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
- Mike Grella started and played 60 minutes in Leeds United's 2-0 win vs. Accrington Stanley in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
SCOTLAND
- DaMarcus Beasley started, played 83 minutes, scored a GOAL and had an assist in Rangers' 3-0 win vs. Dundee United.
- Maurice Edu did not dress in Rangers' 3-0 win vs. Dundee United.
