You can add Clemson University to the list of major college soccer programs searching for new head coaches.
Interim head coach Phil Hindson will not be back after the Tigers' posted a 7-13-1 record in 2009, University officials confirmed to SBI on Thurday. Hindson took over as head coach after long-time head coach Trevor Adair resigned in June following his arrest for assault.
University of Illinois-Chicago head coach John Trask and George Mason head coach Greg Andrulis are among the candidates to fill the position, sources told SBI. School officials told SBI that they expect the position to be filled before Christmas.

The ghost of Coach Ibrahim haunts this program. Coach Ibrahim ruined so many kids lives and Adair sounded just as classless. I hope that Clemson hunts hard and wide for the best coach as well as a coach that treats kids with respect.

Rumblings from the Palmetto state are that Andrulis is the guy. He even came down to Clemson in the middle of the George Mason season for some ceremony. Clemson is one of the great programs in the country, and it will be nice to get it back to the perennial top 10 power it was.
I played against Indiana in the spring during my years in college. The 2 assistant coaches (Phil Presser and Alksey Korol) were cool, but the head (Mike Freitag) coach was always a jerk. Fred Glass, the Indiana University athletic director, does not put up people with bad personalities unless they are winning national championships. I’d look for Indiana to pursue current Akron coach Caleb Porter.
