Agreed, lower divisions of England or even Spain seems smart for Beasley.

by all means, lets have him at everton. lets hops he struggles a lot and gets a severe dent in confidence. that can only be good for england in the summer!
My GOD they ARE conspiring against us!!!!!
Come on Ives. You gotta write a post on that Balotelli goal. He changed the ball into a free-floating orb…apparently that can be done now.
fun to read the british reaction to the potential donovan signing athttp://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/606/F15494752?thread=7137294&show=50
i thought it was funny that one poster mentioned that he’s doing the same thing beckham did and that while donovan may be talented he has a really poor attitude. ohhhh those silly brits, have no idea whats coming to them this summer do they?
SSSSTTTTTUUUUUUUTTTTTTGGGGAAAAARRRRRTTTTTT
yeah, hate it when that happens.
Except that Beas came on over the weekend and promptly drew a good PK for that dismal Rnagers club. He’s fine if just gets to play somewhere other than that depressing pit of a soccer league.
Well Beaz…ya all washed up.
haha and promptly taken off at half time
who coulda guessed?!
Beasley off at the half.
well actually. without the GK and that relic Silvestre the average is 19.333.
with fabianski it is still only 19.8
of course if you throw in the Man Utd reject it jumps up to 20.9 for the whole line up.
but again it was meant to be sarcastic hyperbole …
With you on that one. Hope it gets done quick. Even if it’s just announced, that would be great.
Get that into the shop, stat.
I think your sarcasm detector is broken
hyperbole.
Not 100% here but I think unfortunately at this point ESPN only has the rights to the 7:45AM Eastern time slot & the Monday afternoon match (if there is one.) ESPN does not pick which team plays the early match; the EPL picks their schedule. Maybe next year ESPN will also get Setanta’s 10:00AM Eastern time match as well.
Beasley continues to look like crap

How is this not the only thing on everyone’s minds??
Rubin Kazan left themselves open toward the end of the first half. A couple good breaks by Inter.
1-0 halftime.
I think the reason for the small club games is ESPN US doesn’t want to pay a lot of money for the top 6, 7 clubs.
Just a hypothesis.
shocked
You sure about that? I know it’s a young squad, but 15.5? How about an average of 21 yrs old…
Xavi is the best in Europe right now, and the past year
well so much for the hope of Barca and Inter being bounced …
Darn, there goes Eto’o.
Eto’o takes Inter to a 1-0 lead.
In regards to LD moving to Everton – do you think ESPN will FINALLY stop showing Burnley each week and put the Toffees on more frequently?
I know I would definitely wake up early on a Sat./Sun. to see Lando & Timmy, as I suspect many USMNT fans would. At this point I only watch EPL on ESPN if I happen to wake up early or it’s a premier matchup…which is rare.
Go Rubin! Russia represent.
sorry. missed the ‘and’. but yeah. totally crazy but i would love to see them out. easier for Man Utd!
I know, that would be nuts (and also why I stated ‘and/or’). I’m surprised to see how well the “minnows” have performed to date.
Average starting age of Arsenals line-up today: 15.5
Tom Cruise? Isn’t he a bit short for a defender? And if he is playing who is watching Katie to keep her from escaping?
wow. stuttgart got tired of sucking. poor romanians. 3 -0 inside 20 minutes.
Looks like Walter Smith is putting him in the shop window. He has come out and said he plans to leave to play more.
It could be Inter AND Barca out. Kazan win and Kiev win 2 – 0 or better. If that happens there will be much bitching and moaning.
Man, the big 4 leagues are going to be pissed if Liverpool, Juve, AND Inter and/or Barca are out after one round.
Platini is looking awfully credible with all the different country’s teams performing well so far.
DaMarcus Beasley gets the start for Rangers
If Inter/Kazan win they are thru automatically. And Kiev have to win 2 – 0 or better to break a tie with Barca (on the last criteria of total goals scored in group).
If that game is a draw and Kiev win at all then Kiev/Barca are thru.
What are the possibilities for Barca’s group? Especially with them down 1-0 currently?
