Freddy Adu figured to be weighing transfer and loan options this winter, but he has apparently let the public know just which options he is considering the most seriously.

Adu revealed on Twitter on Sunday that he is choosing between English side Hull City and Greek club Aris FC (The tweet in question has since been removed). Reports surfaced on Sunday identifying Hull as a potential destination for Adu, who is currently the property of Benfica. Aris, which recently acquired American forward Eddie Johnson on loan from Fulham, was identified last week as a club interested in Adu.

(It looks as though Adu may have been having a bit of fun on Twitter with the Hull City stuff and may have been joking around about his Hull and Aris decision. So where is Adu really headed? The Aris reports have more weight than the News of the World report on Hull interest.)

What's the SBI take? Adu to Hull is probably the worst idea I've heard this week. Even if Hull were pondering a move to sell Geovanni, and even if Jimmy Bullard's injury absence goes longer than expected, would the club really leave its chances of avoiding relegation in the hands of an unproven midfielder who has yet to establish himself as a starter anywhere in Europe? Aris isn't exactly a club without attacking options either, but it seems like a better option than Hull for Adu.

Which destination do you think makes more sense for Adu? Think he's crazy for considering Hull? Hoping he joins Johnson at Aris?
