It’s Q&A Time

With the New Year already in full swing, and the U.S. national team and MLS teams already working towards success in 2010, it's a good time for a new SBI Q&A.

You know the routine. Post your soccer-related (and pop-culture related) questions in the comments section below and I will look to post answers to the best questions over the course of the coming days and weeks. The goal this time around is to post all answers before the end of the month.

Have questions about your MLS team? Wondering about the U.S. national team's options?

Send your questions my way.

  1. Are we being little too tough on Freddy Adu and Jozy Altidore when Mexico is having similar problems with their prodigies Carlos Vela and Giovani Dos Santos, who are having their own problems at their respective clubs (Arsenal, Tottenham)?

  2. Ives,
With the boys U14 National Team getting crushed by a bunch of Mexican clubs this last week, do you think there is any reason to be optimistic with the U14 group? Besides the fact that Emerson Hyndman appears to be a badass…

  3. Would Canadian teams (Toronto FC, Vancouver, Montreal, expansion?) ever consider breaking away from MLS to form a 10-or-so-team Canadian ‘MLS’?

  4. Ives what do you think of players like USA U-17 Dustin Coreas , and USA U-15 Cristian Rodriguez proclaiming their intent to play for El Salvador? Both have been linked to top clubs in Europe; and im wondering if it would have any negative effects on the national team process

  6. What’s your opinion on the Kraft family and the Revs? From the outside it appears they think of the team as an afterthought?

They haven’t used their DP slot. I don’t believe they’ve ever scheduled an international friendly, granted their schedule has been quite congested in recent years. And a SSS in Boston is almost impossible. Any possibility they may sell or relocate the team?
