New World Cup ticket phase begins today for U.S. Supporters

Tickets are still available in both the U.S. Soccer fan section and other World Cup matches, for those planning on making the trip to South Africa. From today, February 9, through April 7 tickets will be distributed to U.S. Soccer fans on a first come, first served basis.

The newest phase for U.S. Supporters began today at 10am ET. Tickets to the England-USA match, the semifinals and finals are sold out. A few other matches, including Italy and Paraguay in Cape Town on June 11 and Brazil and Portugal in Durban are reportedly sold out.

According to FIFA, 400,000 seats still remain for the World Cup, with 53 of the 64 matches available.
