DC. UNITED! DC. UNITED!
so the first four were fighting with the trainer?
I am not surprise by this incident. Preki have been acting like he has been a head coach for ten years. He is only been a head coach for two or three years with chivas. I think that he is rubbing the guys the wrong way. The way they traded Robinson showed no class.
Major “bust up” near TFC locker room involving Preki, De Ro, De Guzman and Johnston + TFC trainer. Things are not well in TFC land. BTW Preki has been censored from speaking to TFC media…comments now handled by assistant coach Nick Dasovic.
(SBI-I’ve been told that this entire scenario never happened. DC and Toronto had some scuffles on the field after the red card, but there was no TFC bust-up after the match.)
Go Chuck!
i was at the game…. there was about 200 people there. It was a weekday, raining, preseason, St Patty’s day, and cold(were not big fans of cold weather). True fans were ther with their battery ponchos and freezing. Both the games were good and loved getting drunk with some canadians. On a real note battery marketing team sucks and always has because we have a soccer specific stadium, a winning team, and a soccer loving town yet no one goes to the games. I had a blast but thats because I love the mls and bee (forgive me if my grammer and spelling is effed up because im drunk.
or Ubuntu :). The new LTS(long term service) will come out on 4-29-2010.
i wish more games in san antonio, tx were played.
More DCU fans will be in attendance on Saturday for the coffee pot cup match. Wonder if Toronto will repeat last year’s MO and bail when their game is over to leave the United fans who’ve enjoyed these first to feeds high and dry… Guess we’ll wait and see.
Vamos United.
How was Moreno’s goal? I was following the Twitter feed on my phone.
You need to get a mac 😉
Working great. I’m really impressed…this website just keeps on getting better and better. Keep it up SBI…if this type of thing were to happen with Champs League (through Fox maybe…???) my work day would be blown!
recap: TFC player earned a red card in the first 45 (unsure who & why).
Some time near the 60 minute mark Moreno put D.C. up 1-0.
wow, what a strike!
Working fine for me, too, Ives.
Working fine for me on Firefox.
I just missed the red card, anybody see what happened?
What just happened with that Red Card?
Back in the day when the metrostars had baby bradley, I attended a preseason game in San Antonio, TX where FOUR THOUSAND to watch Colorado and NY/NJ play…
it’s emptier than crew stadium!
It is working fine for me Ives.
(SBI-Thanks Sergio)
If you guys can see the video in this post let me know. I can’t see it on my computer and wasn’t sure if it was my computer or the video that was the problem.
That too.
It also has been raining today in Charleston and the tv is showing the stands where the visitors sit – most of the Charleston fans are on the side of the field with the press box and pub
To be fair, it’s a preseason game at a neutral site. Hardly something the fans are going to come out for in droves.
Has the impending strike already taken a toll on attendance? How many fans are there, 12?
