You wouldn’t be saying that if you’d actually seen the goal. He did exactly what he wanted to do.
Sounds like he overhit a soft lob-cross and it floated into the goal. Happens pretty often.
Adam Johnson’s goal to tie the game in injury time for Man City was mind-blowing.
Recently returned to the EPL with Man City, Young Adam Johnson, hit what may be the Goal of Eternity in injury time to tie the game. If you didn’t see it — he got the ball just inside the 18-yd box, at the top right corner. The defender definitely gave him too much room, but no one could anticipate the quality of his play. He pushed the ball to his left a little, looked up at where everyone was and where he was, then he looked down and struck the ball.
I thought he was chipping it towards the back post, hoping to find the head of one of the Man Cit players around the 6 yd box. The ball kept its loft though sailing over his teammates, and then bending down and in. The ball came down about two feet under the bar, but with much too loft for the defender at the post to reach it with his leaping header attempt. As the Brits say “cool as you like”. Given the pressured circumstances, this may have been one of the most spectacularly placed shots I’ve ever seen, outside of free kicks, which are a bit easier to line up.
Second half. No sign of Ed or Fred.
Thanks man

is anyone’s aris feed working
they came on edu in like the 72nd and beasly in the 85th
No Beasley or Edu, but they were both on the subs bench. Anyone follow Rangers closely no why? Is it normal cup competition squad rotation?
Boca gets the start today, that’s good, seems like he’s back in to the starting role over there.
Anyone have an online link to the City v Sunderland game? (No FSC currently)
Coming off a knee injury, Dempsey playing >70 minutes versus Man Utd and nearly scoring can’t be interpreted as anything other than fantastic news.
no, but there were 5 substitutions and a fairly lengthy stoppage for Zayatte’s injury.
i am a united fan, so yeah i am enjoying this match.
You are enjoying this match? Fulham doesn’t care, and it’s a joke.
Great buildup for 3-0.
Heck of a header from Berbatov.
yeah, a lot like that.
You are never happy, always bitching.
Give me their money coach, I’ll try a hell of a lot more than these wankers.
United has had the ball for maybe 10 minutes straight. Domination.
Fulham deserve to lose by 10.
What a joke.
Goal! Rooney
nice run by fletcher
Kind of like 6 minutes of injury time for Arsenal yesterday even though there were no goals scored in the second half
Well played. Haha.
my dream is that united is up by one so they give only 1 minute of stoppage time, then fulham score and the 4th official goes back out and puts up 5 more minutes
Zamora screwed the pooch, that should have been a goal, embarrassing.
Fulham back pass more than Phil Neville. They just look scared now.
What a jumping flick by Rooney.
great block by vidic
This officiating is a little disgusting, in fact almost every United game is.
Call a foul on United.
That being said, Fulham look lost. Pass the ball FORWARD.
Dempsey needed to come off. He doesn’t need to risk doing too much too soon. 71 minutes is a good start
I refuse to visit your blog. Especially sine you haven’t pimped it well enough. So there.
Oh sorry….. I thought u were talking about agudelo…….. Mls is def on the rise with all these young cats that are gonna be coming in to the league
P.s. Can someone give me an update on the game I had to step out of my house

Murphy just said, “I’m sick of this favoritism from the officials, I’m going to break Carrick’s leg.”
Brooklyn,
Yeah, Agudelo is another hot property, anothe Columbian out of NY area. Plus I forgot Navas in Houston
But there was yet another Columbian named Jose Angulo and NE had him in camp for a while a year or two ago with some bogus “discovery” claim. NY was pissed. Then he hurt his knee or something.
Does United’s back line ever get called for fouls?
time switch my friend. same happened to me i woke up and thought i was right on time
Dempsey looks rusty but if he’s playing now than he should be completely ready for the world cup, now the us must wait for Davies to be healthly.
(SBI-Blog plugging isn’t allowed DLewis, so please don’t do it again.)
if there was no african cup of nations drogba would be leading the prem league in goals dude is beastly
Fulham with some really horrific defense, Rooney just waltzes in and directs a nani pass across goal to the far post.
1-0 United.
Juan Agudelo is still training with the red bulls…. but mls doesnt want to pay what he wants….. he def gonna be a beast no doubt about it
I thought the game was later….. here i am just walking up…. im bout to cut myself
Bit of a non-sequitor but I’ve got a question for anyone that can answer:
I’ve heard alot about the latest phenom’s (Luis Gil, McTierney, ect) but whatever happened to that Jose Angulo kid that NE & NY were trying to sign last year?
I heard he’d been injured but don’t know anything more.
What about Brandon Manzonelli, the kid that got a internship at Villareal and then came back to NE?
Is he still in the game?
Goes to show how fast you can fall off the radar.
Dempsey started, had some good moments in the 1st half, but does look a little rusty
dempsey is starting
Ah, Brooklyn, ya beat me.
First!
Clint should see minutes as a sub hopefully
