toronto just left the biggest crew player on the field unmarked for a goal off a free kick.
gelling*
dynamo definitely not the same team right now, midfield is not jelling what so ever at the moment, robinson just got picked up and kicked in the arm
the argentinian Saric(sp?) for TFC just signed yesterday. How does he already have his paperwork done?
I think there are more Houston fans in PHP than their are FC Dallas fans. That’s sad. FC Dallas’ FO should kill themselves.
They wouldn’t hate him if he wasn’t any good.
The difference between Jozy and DD is that DD is much older and more experienced, but more importantly he plays for one of the best teams. It like when Jozy plays for the NT against weaker CONCAF opponents..he scores
I got the same thing with my cable down here in Flagstaff. I too and just going to set my manual recording.
if you have to create a crazy scenario where villareal sells all its better strikers off to find a way for jozy to be the starter then youre better off just chillin and waiting to see how things play out..especially with world cup this year maybe he can actually play his way into a starting spot somewhere
Jozy plays to contact with his back to goal, and since he is so big and strong, he can knock most defenders off balance. They have to be aggressive with him to counteract his strength.
Also, I think you’ve misjudged Jozy here. He’s got a very powerful shot, so if he gets time and is allowed to face goal he can be extremely dangerous.
Wow…check out the sky sports payer ratings – Jozy with over a 9 and the highest in the game….Spector also did well…opted not to look at poor Freidl.
Inter vs. Roma is FANtastic.
It’s disgraceful or funny. I’m not sure. All I know is it’s annoying.
Did anyone tell fischy.
You really don’t know what you are talking about.
He grew up in South Florida where there is a lot of soccer being played. He has been playing since he was real little. Have you ever read his story?
Didier Drogba only scored 12 goals in 64 senior appearances with LeMans from 1998-2002 – that would have made him 20 years old in 1998.
In the 2 years he was at Red Bull – Jozy scored 15 goals in 37 appearances.
Drogba’s strike percentages were not domineering even after he left Le Mans.
A player does not see his full potential until they generally hit 25. Look at Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo (there is only 1 Ronaldo) as examples.
So, seriously fischy, you really don’t know what you are saying.
another OG going United’s way. When Rooney’s not on to score, the other team will. How many is that now for the season?
Jozy Altidore named man of the match by sky sports:
http://www.skysports.com/football/match_report/0,19764,11065_3151431,00.html
“He may be good by American standards but he’s not at the level of most EPL players.”
He would not be playing if he was not at a level where he can compete with “most” EPL players.
If you are suggesting Jozy can’t finish, he can. The goal he finished was fantastic and he has been setting up teammates as well.
crazy commentator
I misread the original comment. oops.
He looks like Bilbo Baggins
To be honest I thought they were fouls. I ws quoting the commentator. I think he might have thrown his body into it but they were def fouls.
This Guy is mentally insane =/
Im pretty sure that if Jozy keeps playing the way he is, he will be starting for villareal next year…..
HEAR me out,
They are in financial trouble and need money.
Right now they would be able to make a profit on all of their other forwards.
Jozy is physically better than most La Liga defenders.
So they will be about to sell players and make money and still have a good forward who will have an advantage over alot of the people covering him.
But say if Jozy has a great world cup he might be sold also.
I think those sites may have ways to repel bots. I think the real danger is in posting direct links to streams for individual games, but you’re right, better to be safe
Former Sounder, looking forward to him coming back one day.
Sucks to be a Villa fan today.
Liverpool has to thank Chelsea by single handedly crushing Villa’s goal differential, keeping them in Europe on the day.
Uh… was that a joke?
so did you… it’s vague
Got the same thing with Comcast in Indy, I just set a manual recording on my DVR since I won’t be home to watch live.
Bob Bradley, are you watching?
Bob Bradley, are you watching?
Thanks grammar dork!
Wow, plenty of vag discomfort to go through the villa squad today.. 7-1.. BWAHAHAH!
Useless Arsenal. Looks like only Chelsea’s going to step up to the plate and challenge United in the last few games. Let’s hope they do.
That’s what Marcus is aiming for– I believe.
Safe to say Marcus is the #2 for the States this summer
Dam n, Hahnemann just had a hell of a game to keep Everton and the game scoreless.
Everton should have scored at least four goals and earned three points to tie for 7th in the table if it weren’t for Mad Marcus.
And West Ham keeps falling down the table…
It may be Gianfranco Zola’s last game as West Ham’s coach.
As my mom used to say, tough! 🙂
Chelsea’s score really messes up my fantasy team.
Wow seven for Chelsea…neato
On a brighter note for American keepers, both Marcus and Timmy look’n to grab a shutout
wow 7-1
It is now officially a slaughter, folks:
Chelsea 6-Aston Villa 1
While jawing with Konchesky, who didn’t appreciate giving away a foul to Jozy.
They can hate him all they want, but he has been Man of the Match.
And, that makes all the difference in the world.
Someday, perhaps, Jozy will develop that kind of skill, but he’s hardly there now. He is only 20, though…He’s just starting out, and didn’t have the advantage of growing up in a soccer-mad environment.
And Jozy is off
Fulham commentary absolutely hates Altidore
Damn! Chelsea 5 – Villa 1
still, that’s how you learn in Spanish football. If Villareal were watching, Jozy would be a starter.
