  1. Not true Italy has a premavera squad. But on Average they loan out their young stars in the making to serie B or lower table serie A squads. Gooch at this time being foreign and older i doubt would ever get loaned out.

  2. Ives – how about adding Ryan Miller with Halmstad to the updates? He went the full 90 yesterday in their 1-0 victory over AIK.

  3. If Movsysian played for RSL and lived here for as long as he has, you have to assume he at least has a green card.

To maintain that card he must show he still maintains a residence here in the US. I’m not sure how much time he has to spend here. It used to be six months out of the year but that was a while ago and may have changed.

5 years after he gets his green card he can apply for citizenship. Playing in Dnemark doesn’t necessarily affect that as long as he maintains permanent residency here. One would hope he has a good immigration lawyer advising him.

He has been quoted in the past as wanting to play for the US. Considering that Armenia doesn’t have much of a team, that’s not a bad option for him to pursue.

  4. like I’ve been trying to tell everyone… Gomez is NOT that good… he doesn’t even start for Puebla and at times doesn’t even see the field… and people want him on our National team for the World Cup???… come on now.

  5. Jones has been in America plenty…in fact as a child he lived in Chicago and Mississippi prior to his parents divorcing. He would spend summers and time with his dad as well after.
