Joseph takes indefinite leave from Revs

New England Revolution midfielder Shalrie Joseph has left the club, taking an indefinite leave of absence to attend to personal matters.

Joseph left the team on Saturday and has been sidelined for much of the 2010 season with a hip injury. He has played in just one of the team's five matches this season. There is no word as to why he has left the team.

  1. maybe he’s trying better medical treatment in canada. I dont know about you guys, but the dumbell-lifting fitness Singles chick is pretty scary. She must have implants since every girl I’ve ever seen (including ones in the venice beach scene) who were that big, had no breasts at all. She has a nice face, but there’s no comparison between her and the cougar lady.

  2. Come on! (said like GOB Bluth) Hope it’s nothing serious and he’s back soon. It’s like the Revs have had to fight with one hand tied behind their back for a while, with no Twellman or Reis (though Burpo’s been doing okay). Now it’s both hands tied.

  4. One of the best midfielders in MLS history, and a Brooklyn boy as well (used to play pickup at Parade Grounds and Nethermeade). I hope everything works out for Shalrie.

  6. If…..it is sincerely something with his family, I wish him well and hope everything and everyone is okay and in good health.

One does ponder if he’s unhappy with NE Ownership / Management. Maybe there was no hip injury to begin with?
