Let's get started (The Q&A is after the jump):

  2. im not sure the canada question is a good example, perhaps the numerous pires questions is a better example. he’s also going to use the Q&A to clear the air on issues ie) the kansas city question, he made it clear not all teams are getting covered equally. Some of them seemed more like SBI memo’s than real informative questions

  3. Try making your questions simple. Its hard for Ives to try and respond to someone’s essay questions in a rapid fire format. Also be patient he has a lot of questions submitted.

  4. To Fred from the chat: both games were sold out, any empty seats for the Fire game can be written off by realizing that it was effing freezing out, my face and hands were completely numb 10 minutes after I got to my seat.

  5. I’m sure I’m not alone in not making it into the Q&A, what I’m wondering is how the most unoriginal questions get answered during every session (one example: why does Canada suck).

I wouldn’t even mention it if I didn’t suspect that probably five original questions were brushed aside for every one that is addressed for seemingly the bazillionth time. Either way it’s still always fun when I can sneak in from work.

  6. I think Donovan has always wanted to play in Spain. He obviously loved his time at Everton and has stated that he wouldn’t want to play anywhere but there in England, but I can’t believe the LA boy relishes playing on Merseyside in his prime — I time when he can pretty much dictate where he wants to be. Spain just seems the perfect place for him (speaks passable Spanish, the weather, high level of play, technical wingers, etc). Can’t see him at Real or Barcelona, but I think without a doubt he can cut it at an otherwise top La Liga team. Therefore, I’m starting a completely unsubstantiated rumor that Donovan will sign with a team like Atlético Madrid or Valencia after the WC.
