There were some stunning goalkeeping performances in MLS Week Five, but this week's SBI MLS Player of the Week honors go to a field player carrying his team like no other.
Dwayne DeRosario notched a goal and an assist to help Toronto FC post an impressive 2-0 victory against a makeshift Seattle Sounders squad on Sunday.
DeRosario was one of several players who enjoyed strong weeks. Columbus goalkeeper Wil Hesmer enjoyed a stellar performance in the Crew's 1-0 victory vs. Real Salt Lake, while Donovan Ricketts starred for the Los Angeles Galaxy in its scoreless draw vs. Kansas City. Sacha Kljestan also enjoyed a standout performance for Chivas USA in its 3-2 win vs. San Jose.
