please tell me your lying! I was hoping it was soccer/injury related.
Well West ham have pretty much avoided relegation unless Hull win the next two by a ton of goals like 10 each game. I wonder if sebastien lleget will get some pt and Spector play some right back
he’s getting married
Ryan Miller another yank on the other team has started and played well all season, yet does not get a look from B Bradley. It’s funny how it works with people in Scandinavia. Same goes for Mix Diskerud.
Hi Eric,
Yes, Hamburg did not put its best side out there, with all the injuries to key players. But the team has also given up on the season. You can see this in the way, the team carried itself during today’s game.
Indeed, the malaise runs deeper. Incompetence on behalf of management has haunted this team for years, if not decades. Just look at the revolving cast of head coaches (six) during the last seven years. Just look at the poor track record of developing young players. Just look at the poor acquisition record. I tell you, I am done with HSV. I have followed that team since a child and I have grown tired of the incompetence and unrealized promises. Hell, I might even start cheering for FC St. Pauli. If HSV somehow makes it to the Euro League final in Hamburg of all places, good for them. But my heart won’t break if HSV does not…there is nothing left to be broken
I think it means he cloned himself and now we are going to have TWO Charlie Davies!
i wonder what that means…..
beat me to it
From Davies Twitter: “I have some good news to tell you all! Let you know soon enough! Thank you for all the support and blessings! ”
In other news Hamburg lost 5-1. They are kinda making it obvious that they arent putting out their best side.
Neither of these teams care about the game. Hurry up Sounders kick off.
ESPN2 has weird games it picks up.
Show this, but don’t pick up the Sounders-Toronto game and show Drag Racing instead. hmmm.
They must get these games very cheaply.
4-0 scouse. What a way to leave the prem Burnley. They did it in style, very entertaining. Good to see spector stay in the prem.
Penalty called and the feed dies…
Good news for Bradley, Dempsey very sharp on the wing and up high, great vision and technique.
Although, I would prob say Pienaar is MOTM.
Yes…he is doing very well in the 2nd half…everywhere and very dangerous
Liverpool up 3-0, so Everton will be at best 5 points behind them with 2 games to play (and one of Liverpool’s remaining games is at Hull). Seventh place isn’t happening. 🙁
Orebro up 2-0 with A. Bedoya getting the start. Anyone know who had the assists?
His awareness of the game and passing ability have been amazing.
Dempsey is the best player on the pitch today.
Looks like Watford is clear too. The only Nat still on the bubble is Dolo.
Whoops, I meant “no” not “to”. Sorry about that.
OKAKA! Fail..
What do you mean? With Burnley losing to Liverpool today, it will be settled.
looks like to last day drama for relegation this year.
Edu’s tackling ability is beautiful….I am so glad he got healthy and back to the form he had at the end of last year
what a shot by Edu just wide
Ashley Cole got abused by Dean Whitehead!?!?!
bad touch by demps
Edu assisted the first goal for Rangers (according to ESPN)
it’s as if the goal has inspired the play of fulham right now
DEMPSEY!!!! What a good little play, Dempsey should have done just slightly better! But a great run and idea none-the-less
yeah. On the bright side though Rangers put 2 defenders,3 strikers on the bench and only one mid. It’s not like he lost his spot on the bench to another midfielder, the manager just wanted something different.
Good ball by Okaka to Dempsey. That would have been something.
give the goal scorer credit… Howard was closing pretty fast. Cool little finish, we have to make sure to take our chances like that in SA
Holy crap. Arteta might be dead.
no 0-0. Should’ve mentioned Nevland.
Wow what a terrible, terrible goal. Neither side have looked dangerous, and just when Everton start attacking Fulham pounce on a terrible back pass.
What a stunner! Howler by Baines leads to a Fulham score and the lead….
According to ESPN Edu started but Beasley DNP or DND again.
Hodson shaking his head….Nicky Shorey is is backup left back – no one to put in there if he is hurt!!!
Hodgson has rarely used more than one sub in many of Fulham’s games in the past few months. I doubt we’ll see any of them come on, except maybe Elm or Teymourian for Dempsey.
who are the commentators?
If Fulham wasn’t my manager mode club on FIFA 10 I wouldn’t have.
I’m hoping Stoke can get a win or draw and move back up the table today. But it’d be a big shocker if they could pull it off.
Might be a competive squad if playing one of the bottom 4 o 5 teams but I think they will struggle with the Toffee’s first team. Who are those people on the bench for Fulham? Ever even heard of them?
It’s still a competitive squad. If Dempsey or Greening don’t score, I think it’ll be another 0-0.
Dempsey’s been quiet so far. Seems to be playing a sort of Center attacking mid
Fulham putting a team full of subs on and it shows. Everton is controlling the pitch in the first minutes of the game. The Toffees are looking very strong.
would love for chelsea to drop points here
