The UEFA Champions League is off this week, but that doesn't mean it's a slow Wednesday in the soccer world.
In fact, today features a pretty packed slate of games, with the Premier League, La Liga and Mexican leagues all in action, along with Copa Libertadores.
Tim Howard battles Brad Friedel today as Everton takes on Aston Villa, while Tottenham faces Arsenal in a London Derby that should be one of the most entertaining matches of the day.

I’m a huge fan of this new ESPN3. It can be viewed on LINUX whereas ESPN360 could not
i love FSC+. Just got it in the last couple days. The fact that this channel now gives me A) soccer in hd, B) more european games and C) an opportunity to watch championship games and hence, american players within the championship.

This isn’t the first time Rolfe has been compared to Landon. They both are good goalscorers, both good taking people on, both seem to have good technique in service delivery, both are practically two footed, both are creative, both have guile. The list actually goes on and on. Even Alexi Lalas has said it himself that Chris Rolfe is a poor man’s version of Landon Donovan.
