D.C. United is still searching for its first win of the Major League Soccer season, but it did manage to score an impressive victory on Monday with the news that the club will face AC Milan in a friendly next month.
D.C. will take on the Italian power on May 26 at RFK Stadium in a match that should feature AC Milan's non-World Cup participants. That could include Ronaldinho and Alexandre Pato, two Brazilian stars still regarded as a longshots to make the Brazilian World Cup squad.
The friendly is D.C. United's first high-profile match since last summer's friendly vs. Real Madrid.
The announcement is the first bit of good news D.C. fans have gotten in some time after the team's 0-3 start to the season. The club faces the Chicago Fire on Saturday.

WIZARDS TO FACE RAPIDS IN OPEN CUP
Major League Soccer begins U.S. Open Cup play tonight when the Kansas City Wizards takes on the Colorado Rapids at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
The Wizards defeated the Rapids, 1-0, in MLS action on Saturday and come into tonight's match 2-0 on the new season. Kansas City is also expected to unveil new signing Sunil Chhetri, who was recently added to the Wizards roster.
LETOUX NAMED MLS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Philadelphia Union forward Sebastien LeToux beat out a strong field to win MLS Player of the Week honors.
LeToux's hat-trick helped him edge out New England striker Zach Schilawski and L.A. striker Edson Buddle after scoring all three of the Union's goals in Saturday's 3-2 win vs. D.C. United. Schilawski had his own hat-trick in the Revs' 4-1 rout of Toronto FC, while Buddle added two goals in the Galaxy's 2-0 win vs. Houston.
KROENKE TO BUY NFL RAMS
Colorado Rapids owner Stan Kroenke has long been expected to make a bid to buy English power Arsenal, but he has instead decided to make a move to by another football team, the NFL's St. Louis Rams.
Kroenke's bid for the Rams comes as one of Arsenal's major stakeholders is looking to sell.

According to U.S. Soccer's Director of Referee Development, Jaime Moreno's goal vs. Philadelphia on Saturday should not have counted.

Jamie Moreno’s god DEF should NOT have counted. That was classless and cocky. Suspend him for a game. The keepers really are overprotected, but that was just not in the spirit of the game. Didn’t like it Jamie.
There is no way Ronaldinho come to MLS before 2014 because he any every other Brazilian alive wants to play in the 2014 World Cup. If Dunga does not select him and Brazil falters, Ronaldinho will probably be Exhibit A when Dunga get axed (and Pato might be Exhibit B). If he leaves Milan, there are a boatload of EPL or Spanish sides that would gladly take him, and he also might return to Brazil. Meanwhile, I’d say its even money that the team Dunga takes would lose to a team Dunga doesn’t take.
But if LD has a great World Cup, his price will just sky rocket.
