The UEFA Champions League semifinals kick off today, with Inter Milan playing host to defending champion FC Barcelona in Milan (2:45pm, FSN/FSE/DirecTV).
Barcelona has had to take a long journey to Italy thanks to the European flight bans caused by the Icelandic volcano eruption, but that shouldn't stop today's match from being as tightly-contested as the last time these teams met in Milan, a 0-0 draw last fall in the Champions League group stage.

Third goal was a sham.
Dude was a million miles offside.
I guess it all evens out eh? Barca got some favorable calls last year in the Semis.
Inter played magnificent regardless.
That Baloteli has got some serious head issues lol.
great game inter stick to them BARCA SNOBS. I USEto be a barca fan untill they dropped eto for that ahole call Zlatan .
This ref is terrible. 3 clear penalties for Barca, dozens of fouls called the wrong way… what is going on here? I’m not even a barca fan, but come on, inter are getting man-handled and don’t deserve this win.
well, this score is going to make watching the second leg fun. Barca have no chance but to put on a full-out attack.
pique.. pique… PIQUE… PIIIIIIIIIIQUAAAAAAAA.
wtf??
replay says sneijder chopped his calves. but alves oversold it.
Wow, Barcelona has been on the bad end of two bad decisions by the officials. Milito looked to be offside on his goal, they also should have received a penalty but instead a card was given for a dive.
ALVES = Flop!
um, yeah, this ref sucks.
there you go.. Balotelli enters the game.. one kinda italian on the ptich.
No, as in he got hurt this saturday. Prior to that he was playing 90
One of these days, someone is going to be very injured and the ref is going to force them to move off the field and permanently injure them.
Who will to blame then ? All the players that use it for the cheating technique of taking time off the clock. Between this and the two rediculous dives, makes you wonder why FIFA pull its head out and cut down on cheating ?
This is a prime example of why the game is played on the field….the pundits and just about everyone else had conceeded this to Barcalona before a ball had been kicked….
So he’s been playing regularly since his knock? I sure hope so. He’s so effing tenacious and never quits on any play
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOOAALALALALLLLLAALLLL!!!! JOSE IS THE MASTER OF THE FUTBOL STUFF!
Ibra is not having a good day with the ref
lets go inter!
he has a knock
Left this past weekend’s game 56 mins. in to injury.
Rather off topic: but I haven’t been following the CCC in England much this season and I noticed Watford is playing today, but Demerit is neither on the field or the bench. After last summer’s confed cup I became a believer and a huge fan of his and what he has to bring to our national team. I think he could make an impact as a starter or at the very least backup off the bench. What’s Jay’s story nowadays? Injured? Out of favor? I hope a healthy Demerit can make it to SA.
Argh.
Yeah, Maicon fell asleep on Maxwell on that goal. But I’ve been very disappointed with Alves’ touch all game. He needs to settle in.
This game should end up 2-2 with how these defenses have been playing.
Maicon has been beaten a couple of times by Maxwell and might not come forward as much as usual. Alves can give this game away if he doesn’t calm down. Good idea for Brazil WC opponents, attack their attacking FBs.
Gotcha… sorry not watching the game… at work right now.
No team without at least 1 citizen of the club’s country in the starting XI has ever won the Champions League (don’t know about European Cups, though)…
he’s playing at RB in this match with Maxwell on the left.
I thought that Alves was a LB and Maicon a RB…
nevermind, this ref sucks
I don’t understand how every time Ibra touches the ball he fouls someone?
the best defense against barcelona is ibrahimovic. he stifles there attack more than any centerback i have ever seen.
playing time for the Brazilian national team, that is.
yeah, he’s not having his best game. he needs to if he wants to wrestle playing time away from Maicon, who will likely put his own stamp in this match.

D Alves loses his mind and joins the CBs leaving Wesley alone on the left.
google “myp2p” guys.
pauvresito milito
Nice find by Milito. Barca didn’t keep their shape in the back. Three guys closed in and didn’t see Snjeider.
Ive usually have FSC to watch so Ive never had to look for streams. can anyone tell me “where” to look with out actually naming the site. I dont want any to get pulled down…
Sneijder equalizes!!! daaaaaamn
tied it up! inter has been begging for one; they earned at least one goal.
a-t-d-h-e-.net isn’t working for me. anyone have a link?
Two key things to watch:
1) Messi v. 3/5 of Brazil’s defense. Maybe the best indication we will get about how Messi and Argentina will fair against the better teams in the World Cup.
2) Eto’o v. Barca’s possession game. If anyone in the world has the counterattack ability to break Barca’s game, its Eto’o.
Made it much, much too easy for Maxwell to run in and pick out a pass. Pedro just had to do what he does, and even easier without pressure.
To be fair, that was all Inter’s defense.
Great build up on the goal.
1-nil Barca in the 19th
PEDROOOOO!!!!!
GOL!
Pedrito!
Thats actually kind of weird considering in the last World Cup, Italy had zero players from teams outside of Itay.
Inter has zero Italians in the starting XI. Four Brazilians, four Argies, Holland, Macedonia, Cameroon. Just sayin’.
