Good morning all. This is your reminder that the weekly SBI Live Q&A will be kicking off at 1pm today. Be sure to check in to SBI to submit your soccer (and pop culture) related questions my way.
There's plenty to discuss these days, from the pending U.S. World Cup camp, the seeming conspiracy by the French media to write false stories about Charlie Davies, to the sad state of D.C. United.
Can’t honestly say that I know the Algerian players that well, but from looking at the roster it looks like a decent squad. Players that play in England, Spain, Itlay, and Germany. No push over for sure
Have you heard when will Man Utd’s North America pre-season tour will be announced? Any other big names still to announce their pre-season trip to the U.S.?
I think Maurice Edu has to be in the line up. I think it is unlikely that Bradley will switch as people have pointed out. I’m thinking the line up looks like this:
I like the idea, but I think it’s too late for a team that’s been playing a 4 4 2 all through qualifying and the Confed Cup to change it in just one camp and 2 sendoff games.
i would. I say they should take advantage of the midfield depth by playing a 4-5-1, with jozy up top, landon and clint behind him as attacking mids, mikey in the middle, holden, beasely, bedoya and who ever else running the flanks(Maybe Adu, LOL I had to). our back four either the same as confed cup or other variations. I know not all people are sold on Goodson, but I think he could step into Gooch’s place if he can’t goo with demerit next to him.
so I would go with the tradition BB 4-4-2 if are forward situation pans out but if not then…
