  1. Chelsea would have beat Wigan without the send of, plus it’s hard to find a team that does not feature a diver. Don’t channel it all on Chelsea.

  2. They were celebrating in front of the home fans, because they were also playing for the all time [modern] premier league record for goals scored, in addition for the championship and potential double.

  3. Chelsea looked like they where going to be the champions of the EPL from the very first game, a win over Portsmouth would make this outstanding season even better. So glad to be a Chelsea fan right now.

  4. soccernet slights Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A, ligue 1 too, it’s all-epl all the time on main page.

So MLS is in good company : )

  5. Apparently he came on in the 66th minute. No mention of him in the BBC game report. Most of the games today were pretty lame, there being nothing to play for.

  6. I think you went a little further than you need to, but I agree 100%, they have such a pathetic MLS page that they hide it deep.

It is just wrong. It is our league. I again support you 100%, the first time being that the Mariners shouldn’t have traded you.

let us know what we can do to help.

  7. EJ has his 5th goal in 10 games for Aris. Nothing spectacular but pretty good for him. Maybe he takes a paycut and stays there.

    Hannover has not been relegated.

Bradley is for sure a starter for BMG and they look to add on to be a mid-table team.

Everyone in England loves Dempsey and respect him.

Spector has been crap lately but hopefully he keeps his place at WH.

Tim Howard is one of the best GK’s in England though Joe Hart, Hahnemann and Friedel are just as good. Best 4 outside the top4.

Gooch should make a move after the WC or perhaps AC wishes to rebuild and use him for real next season.

Boca is still a starter at Rennes but no Europe for them.

DeMerit, if he has a good WC should be signed by a PL club come August.

  8. Dempsey is gonna tear it up in the WC.

3 goals- I’d go with 2 but he has it. See him tear it up against Algeria.

  9. Well skyports says Dempsey got a yellow a min before he was subbed out. So probably didn’t want to chance him getting a red and missing the season opener in August.

Plus they need him fresh and not injured as he’s sure to start on Wed.

  10. That’s not what “sour grapes” means. “Sour grapes, derived from the famous fable, is justifying failure by stating that success wouldn’t have been a positive outcome anyway. Example: We didn’t win the championship, but I don’t care because the trophy is ugly.

  11. Chelsea scored 7 goals other times this season against 11 man squads so the man advantage only gave them one extra goal………. Blue is the color

  13. No sour grapes- not that interested in Chelseas- Man United.

Just commenting on the game that FSC chose to televise. They kept celebrating like they were somehow accomplishing something beating up on a team that they had a man advantage on. And I get that they were excited about winning the EPL.

    No class.

  14. Sounds like sour grapes to me, jts. Like ’em or not, Chelsea won the league, fair and square. Things would be different had Man U. beaten them at Old Trafford back in April.
