The English Premier League title will be decided today as Chelsea looks to hold onto its lead for one more day while Manchester United hopes for a chance to catch them.
Chelsea faces Wigan today and a win will secure the league title, but a tie or loss could open the door for Manchester United to win its fourth straight league crown. That is assuming United can dispose of Stoke City.
The English Premier League finishes play today, while Serie A kicks off a full slate of action as well. Roma and Inter Milan are still battling for the Serie A crown and both teams are in action today.

He got pretty blatantly fouled in the box by Campbell with no call. It seemed to be that he was staying down more out of frustration with the ref than due to pain. He got up, walked over to the ref and got a yellow for arguing, then Hodgeson promptly subbed him out before he could get a second.
In short, I don;t think his injury is at all serious.
Chelsea- terrible sports.
Man advantage due to cheating (Lampard dive- watch it in just about every angle) then continue to beat up a lesser opponent.
Classy. Real classy, from the dive to Drogba pouting because Lampard takes the PK to beating them 8-0. And classiest of all: Droga with a hat trick all in the last 30 minutes.
I kind of like Chelsea but I found today’s performance after the sending off to be classless.
And before all of the apologist say that Wigan should just stop them, realize that Chelsea had a man advantage because they cheated. Diving is cheating.
I heard there is no interest in Europe, perhaps MLS?
Not a Chelsea fan, but certainly an enemy of SAF. Well done Blue.
In other news, St. Pauli are 2.Bundesliga champions!
Punk rock ist nicht tot!
Huh, apparently you’re not allowed to pull on people’s shirts or arms in soccer? Who’d have thunk it?
Is Dempsey injured? Any update on that?
King gets called into camp for sure.
Did anyone get to watch the Bolton game? How was Holden’s form?
Because what else would you do with £30m (plus wages)?
is he hurt i saw on the espn gamecast that he got subbed off because of injury
Im using Gamecast on espn. Its the only thing that i can find.
sounds like beas is moving on…
DaMarcusBeasley Will always have love for glasgow and of course RANGERS!! time to open a new chapter in my book! Look forward to the upcomin months!!
same I cant find a feed or anything
OG’s for Manu are higher than Berbatov’s goals. Why do we have him again?
where are you watching the game? what feed? I have been looking forever for a good feed
have no feed, hope he does well
subbed in 67th minute
6 goals, 68 minutes. I say chelsea win 10-0.
i’m getting that feeling too, hope i’m wrong though
Holden coming on.
Man U cap off their season with yet another own goal.
Maybe the drop-down tabs vary depending on your region…I’m not in the US at the moment, maybe I’m not seeing a “US Soccer” tab because of that. Oh well.
But on which page are you hovering over “US Soccer”? On espnsoccernet.espn.go.com (ie, the Soccernet main page)? I’m there and am not seeing a US Soccer drop-down to hover over…
Ah well. It’s not that I need to find it….just thought I’d post and criticize the horrible site that it is. Glad Fox Soccer and SBI are my sites of choice.
Bolton just scored again
Here’s hoping Dempsey gets subbed out in the next few minutes. I am a little concerned that Hodgson might not be planning to start him in the Europa league final, which in my opinion, makes zero sense.
Yeah, ever since Jen Chang left, it’s been a complete and utter mess.
If you’re still not getting it. Here it is: Just hover your mouse over the ‘US Soccer’ tab, then you should get a drop down for ‘Home’ and ‘MLS’. Good luck!
cry me a river, crybabies.
soccernet reporting Bedoya clocks another 90 in a W for Obrero. I hope he stays in good form and makes the nats 23. Wonder what his odds are?
I’m actually an Arsenal fan. But i’m also a striker! So I might have a little bias
Maybe it’s because all 10 EPL games are being played at the same time and I doubt every game is being televised live.
Bolton-Birmingham was not top priority
I know! I have been looking for the past hour and have not been able to find one. The usual feed that I use, iraqgoals, manages to have every other EPL game today except the one that I’m actually interested in, because Holden really impressed a couple of months ago. Absolutely ridiculous.
If you mean ridiculously good, I agree.
“If you right-click on US, you get a pull-down menu. MLS is the second choice.” On which page do you right-click on “US” though?
I usually use Fox Soccer or MLS’s own site, but sometimes I check espn’s page just for yucks.
Are you implying MLS soccer isn’t pretty?
Wow, why can’t I find a Bolton feed? If stu plays, I’m going to be pissed if I can’t see it.
I agree it’s stupid to grab a shirt, but it happens about 30 or 40 times a game. You don’t see the guy go down unless he’s in the box. It was a penalty, but it shouldn’t have been. Lampard should have been carded, not the defender.
You must be a Chelsea fan… it shouldn’t be a red just because he’s 1 foot behind the second to last defender. It’s a horrible red card call.
I assume you’re referring to Lampard. He’s a very convincing diver.
See Frank run. Tug Frank’s shirt. See Frank fall.
I think he defends better that way…
Youare doing it wrong.
While I agree that ESPN Soccernet slights US soccer, it’s not the way you portray. The problem is the clicking the USA page on the drop down menu just takes you to the World Cup page.
It’s been this way for many months. If you right-click on US, you get a pull-down menu. MLS is the second choice. It takes you right to their MLS page. On the other hand, their MLS coverage sucks, so I[m not sure hwy you feel the need to check it out. Nothing original there, and nothing insightful either.
The defender shouldn’t be stupid enough to grab the shirt like that. It’s a penalty.
Because he’s the last man back it’s a red. Ref got it right
Good move, Turkish football is pretty fun and would suit his passing and vision skills.
Where have you been. Welcome to the know it all club.
No, this is the EPL – where competition for the title is near non-existent. Teams buy their success in England and it’s become unbearable to watch.
ANYONE HAVE A STREAM PLEASE SIR?
Not to mention the no call on the offside for the 1st goal. Perhaps justice will prevail in this game. This is football we’ll see.
Penalty barely, the red is a joke. That rule HAS to be changed. Just because you are the last man in the box with 3 other defenders doesn’t make it a red. It should be only for breakaways and such where the striker is one on one with the keeper.
Expect that rule changed this year. Handed the title to Chelsea and made the last hour of this game completely not worth watching.
Give a hand to the refs – this year has been an absolute shocker for them. Can’t wait to see what they come up with in the World Cup.
Lamps deserves an oscar for that dive.
