D.C. United and FC Dallas won matches, Chivas USA registered a blowout and Edson Buddle didn't score. Any of these events on their own might have come as a surprise, but having all of them take place in last night's MLS action tells you just how unpreditable MLS can be.

Here is a rundown of last night's scores:

D.C. United 2, Kansas City Wizards 1

Aussie striker Danny Allsopp showed us why D.C. brought him to replace Luciano Emilio. Also, Bill Hamid showed us glimpses of being a future star.

Chivas USA 4, New England Revolution 0

A Marko Perovic red card paved the way for Chivas USA to roll all over the short-handed and depleted Revs

Houston Dynamo 0, FC Dallas 1

FC Dallas defense shuts down the same Dynamo attack that looked so good last weekend.

Colorado Rapids 0, Los Angeles Galaxy 1

Edson Buddle didn't score, but assist machine Landon Donovan sets up Alan Gordon's first goal of the season.
