MLS Match Night: Your Running Commentary

Major League Soccer is in full swing tonight, with all but two of the league's teams in action in the final full weekend before the World Cup break.

The unbeaten Los Angeles Galaxy take on the Houston Dynamo at Home Depot Center in one of the league's better rivalries, while the Seattle Sounders look to improve their home form against a New England side looking to get over the shocking loss of Preston Burpo to a gruesome injury.

Here is a rundown of tonight's matches:

7:30pm-New York Red Bulls vs. Chivas USA (Fox Soccer Channel)

7:30pm- D.C. United vs. Real Salt Lake (Direct Kick)

8pm- Los Angeles Galaxy vs. Houston Dynamo (Galavision)

8:30pm- Chicago Fire vs. Philadelphia Union (Direct Kick)

8:30pm- FC Dallas vs. San Jose Earthquakes (Direct Kick)

9pm- Colorado Rapids vs. Columbus Crew (Direct Kick)

10:30pm- Seattle Sounders vs. New England Revolution (Direct Kick)

  1. Sounders committed more players to the attack sometimes 6 or 7. When they revert back to 4 they look poor. Both Freddies were sharp with their passing and they had more options to go to.

  2. Yeah he kicked the ball at Mastro. I’m not sure either was a red card offense, but it should have been even at least. Either two yellows or two reds.

  3. Kevin Stott gets one all wrong in the Col-Col game. Mastroeni ejected and Lenhart with the yellow. Should have been the other way around. I live in Ohio but not a Crew fan and I hate Lenhart. Total punk

  4. Red Bull Arena will always have a late arriving crowd especially tonight as traffic is snarled because of a bridge repair…
