  1. Did you not see the photo? Xavi and Villa are so funny that Puyol is “lizzing”! They are laughing at the rest of the world.

  2. Spain is an exciting team to watch. However, let’s remember that they barely defeated Saudi Arabia 3-2 and only beat South Korea 1-0. This last friendly was a great exhibition of offensive power but Spain can be had by one of the great countering teams. If Spain does play Brazil in the finals, they will have to be cautious of the counter. Saying this, Brazil might not even make it do the finals. Brazil will not be facing Tanzania anymore. I think If Brazil faces Chile in the second round, Chile can cause all kinds of problems for Brazil because they know them well. I am not saying Chile will win, but I give them a good chance; and if Brazil does win, it will take a lot out of them, because it would be a battle. This World Cup is going to have a few upsets, starting this Saturday.

  3. “The only exception was Capdevilla.”

Of course, they should exchange Capdevila for some guy from RM, Barca or Valencia. After all, Capdevila is a back that even Jozy Altidore can school.

  4. Unlikely for ESP-BRA 2nd round game. BRA will surely top N.Korea, Ivory Coast (with a questionable Drogba), and Portugal. ESP will surely top Switzerland, Honduras and Chile. FIFA rigged the draw to make sure the #1 and #2 seeds will probably meet in the Final. But yah, if Portugal somehow top BRA, then it would be a ridiculous 2nd round game! Is it Friday already? Somewhere? Ugh, the wait!

  5. I checked the brackets. If either ESP or BRA are 1st in their group, and the other one is 2nd, then they will meet in their first knockout game! If they are both first in their groups, and they keep winning, then they will meet in the final. Let’s get this party started!
