Juan Roman Riquelme has spent the majority of his career with Boca Juniors, but the Argentine playmaker may soon be playing in the Premier League after another club set its sights on him.

Birmingham is currently eyeing the 32-year-old Riquelme, who has never played in the Premiership. The Blues will need to make a tempting offer if they are to land Riquelme, as he stated last week he would prefer to stay with Boca Juniors.

Riquelme is also being linked with West Ham United and Brazilian club Flamengo.

Here are more stories to help get you through the day:

Movsisyan scores in Randers' season opener

Former Real Salt Lake forward Yura Movsisyan got off to a flying start in his second season with Danish club Randers FC, scoring the club's second goal in a 3-2 victory over Brondby. Movsisyan, who came off the bench at halftime, scored in the 70th minute with a left-footed finish after making a well-timed run and faking Brondby's goalkeeper. The goal can be seen here (at the 2:30 mark).

Juarez signs with Celtic

Mexican international Efrain Juarez has signed with Celtic, agreeing to a four-year deal with the club. Juarez has already agreed to terms and just needs to undergo a medical to finalize his transfer from Pumas UNAM. The 22-year-old joins Mexico teammate Pablo Barrera as the second Pumas player to transfer abroad after the latter signed with West Ham United last week.

Thiago Silva's agent claims Real interest

Real Madrid is keen on signing AC Milan defender Thiago Silva, according to the player's agent. The reported transfer fee Real Madrid would offer is estimated to be worth 15 million, which Silva's agent deems too low.

How do you see Riquelme fairing in the EPL? How badly are you hoping that Movsisyan becomes an American citizen? Highly anticipating the Juarez-Maurice Edu battles when Celtic and Rangers face off? Should Thiago Silva stay at AC Milan?
