Mexican International and former Chicago Fire midfielder Cuauhtemoc Blanco is currently weighing an offer from Mexican league two side Irapauto over a return to MLS according to Mexican newspaper Record.

According to MLS sources, the Mexican veteran has rejected a return to the Fire for a return to the Liga Ascenso.  However, Blanco himself announced on Tuesday that he is still weighing offers.

"I have made no firm decisions yet and my agent is weighing all the options," said Blanco. "When I have made my final decision, I will make it public."

The 37-year-old midfielder played in three games for the Mexico in the World Cup and scored a goal in the team's 2-0 victory over France. Cuauhtemoc spent three seasons with the Fire and tallied 16 goals during that time.
