Manchester United has released the 23-man roster for its upcoming North American tour that includes a stop at Reliant Stadium in Houston for the Major League Soccer All-Star game.

Wayne Rooney, not surprisingly, is not included in the squad, nor is Gary Neville, who suffered a calf injury in a recent training session.

Those accompanying Sir Alex Ferguson to this side of the Atlantic Ocean are: Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, Dimitar Berbatov, Edwin Van der Sar, Tomasz Kuszczak, John O'Shea, Wes Brown, Rafael, Fabio, Jonny Evans, Darren Fletcher, Chris Smalling, Darron Gibson, Nani, Danny Welbeck, Federico Macheda, Mame Biram Diouf, Tom Cleverley, Ritchie De Laet, Corry Evans, Ben Amos and Gabriel Obertan. Javier Hernandez will meet up with the team a day prior to the All-Star game.

The Red Devils will play Scottish side Celtic in Toronto on July 16 before facing the Philadelphia Union on July 21 and the Kansas City Wizards on July 25. They'll be the MLS All-Stars' competition on July 28 prior to winding up their tour at Chivas de Guadalajara on July 30.

Are you planning on seeing Manchester United during the tour? Happy with the players included on the roster? Think the MLS All-Stars can win the match in Houston?
