Ummm… Celebrating a play-in game win?
Sorry ya dumb-yank haters…. we can’t hear you up here in Toronto right now… its too loud what with all the celebrating!!!
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO TORONTO
I’M GOING CRAZY…
TFC! Congrats boys!
Toronto was lucky to win that game. However final score is all that matters……..
Naa you guys are right, I have no idea what I was thinking….. Mix of east coast late night, newborn at home, and FSC feed….. I just looked at the lineup.
Plus Jeff Parke is injured and N’Kufo is 35, played a ton of minutes two days ago and will start again this weekend.
The problem with the original field was crap lighting.
James Riley.
The Sounders absolutely did not play a half-reserve team. The only non-regular starter was Roger Levesque, and even he was A team to start the season.
Also, good job by Toronto. Another team that showed well for the MLS. LA? That’s going to be tough.
In response to a post by Rob. The Sounders are using mostly reserves. What are you talking about? Levesque, who plays alot and Marshall who used to be a starter. Everyone else tonight was a starter. It’s not too bad. Do your re-search. Only Jeff Parke, and Blaise Nkufo did not play. With the awful pitch and the travel, I think it was a good result. The Sounders showed well for the MLS.
Wow, just glad we survived the game without injury.
I lol’d!
Dallas just signed 3 to the full team last week.
They just screwed up.
Congratulations to Seatlle. Sloppy conditions and they deserved a result. They were the better team and it is nice to see an MLS team actually do something.
Hopefully LA can show up for a game tomorrow.
For the longest time, mlssoccer.com had the score as 2-0 Metapan. Was there a goal called off or did they just screw up?
FSC was behind.
What I’d really like to know and hopefully someone can answer for me: how was the Polo match before this game?
This isn’t Metapan’s home stadium. Given that it is a couple hours away from home and the game doesn’t end till 10 on a week day, it kind of makes sense that no one showed up.
So when did the ref take a fall? He had mud all over his butt.
You can see the frustration from the Sounders. They must feel like they’re playing a pickup game on a back alley field.
Seattle really did control the game for the most part. Keller had little to do at all besides the defensive suck at the start.
Pretty resolute killing off of the game by Seattle. Well done.
Wow, is the game closed to the public or what?
A bit late to the party eh? ha
Goal Fernandez! Seattle equalizes and grabs an away goal. Now they just have to hold on like Wilson Phillips.
That actually hurts when it happens, but I agree that he’s ultimately fine.
This game should be broadcast in black and white.
the crew and rsl automatically qualified along with some other teams check this out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2010%E2%80%9311_CONCACAF_Champions_League
