Toronto FC and the Seattle Sounders are in Central America today to play the second legs of their respective CONCACAF Champions League series, and both are in for tough battles as they attempt to hold on to 1-0 leads from their first legs.

TFC takes on Honduran club CD Motagua (8pm, Fox Soccer Channel), led by former Toronto FC midfielder Amado Guevara, while the Sounders take on Salvadoran club Metapan (10pm, Fox Soccer Channel).

The Los Angeles Galaxy look to reverse its embarrassing 4-1 first-leg loss to the Puerto Rico Islanders on Wednesday in Puerto Rico.

Here are some other stories to get your day going:

TORRES COMMITS TO LIVERPOOL

Liverpool fans can breath a sigh of relief after learning that Fernando Torres has pledged his commitment to the club, meaning he will join Steven Gerrard in staying with the team.

''I am really happy to be back, really happy to stay with all my team-mates,'' Torres told Liverpool's website.  ''My commitment and loyalty to the club and to the fans is the same as it was on my first day when I signed.

''I am looking forward to the challenge ahead.''

Javier Mascherano appears to be the only superstar set to leave Liverpool, though his proposed move to Inter Milan has yet to be completed despite a myriad of rumors calling the move inevitable.

MILAN EYEING DOS SANTOS

AC Milan has used David Beckham as a part-time option on the right wing during parts of its last two seasons, but appear ready to land a more permanent option for the position as reports link the Italian club to Mexican international Giovani Dos Santos.

Still with Tottenham, Dos Santos has struggled to make his mark with the English club and could be sold, with Milan reportedly offering Klaas Jan Huntelaar in a potential swap.

See Seattle and Toronto coming back from Central America with victories tonight? Relieved to see Torres staying at Liverpool? Hoping Milan signs Dos Santos (if only to keep Beckham from going back for a third loan spell)?

  1. Both Drogba and Torres have had fitness issues and if Torres can stay healthy he should be number two. I just read that he has 41 goals in 40 games for LFC, call him Mr automatic!
