A pair of big-time ACC match-ups highlight a jam-packed weekend of NCAA action, with 21 of the top 25 schools in action.

Later today, No. 9 Maryland looks to rebound from their early loss to Michigan State by traveling to fifth-ranked Boston College. Also playing tonight, No. 3 Tulsa welcomes unranked Western Illinois.

Saturday sees two match ups between top-10 teams. At 7pm, defending national champion Virginia, currently ranked  No. 2, travels south to Durham, NC to take on the #8 Duke Blue Devils. 30 minutes later the No. 6 Harvard Crimson kick off against #10 Connecticut. It's an early test for two teams that are easily the favorites in their respective conferences. Also on Saturday, Akron will travel to Bowling Green in an attempt to retain their top ranking.

No. 22 Drake and No. 18 Indiana clash at 11:30am on Sunday morning to round out the weekend.

  3. Sorry to report the Pack fell to the dreaded “Tarholes” 1-0 at Dail Stadium. It was SRO. Wish I had the attendance figures. Fantastic atmosphere. Even the marching band was there. Incredible.

  4. With our football team being a disgrace hopefully the lobo soccer team will continue to perform well and maybe gain some support!

  5. Ives, no love for the “TLC Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Invitational”?

It really is a good tournament with The University of New Mexico, Georgetown, Portland and Denver competing – all of which are ranked in the top 40.

  6. got to hand it to Davidson. they play in a pretty tough Southern Conference but also add an out of conference road trip to face UCSB and UCLA.
