Benny Feilhaber just cannot be stopped.

Having scored four goals in the past seven days, Feilhaber continued his tear with AGF Aarhus on Sunday as he assisted on two goals and scored a clutch game-winner in a 3-2 victory over Koge.

Feilhaber's decisive goal may have been his biggest one to date at the club level. Having come back from a 2-1 deficit, Aarhus earned three points when Feilhaber stepped up and curled a free kick into the back of the net from 23 yards out in the 92nd minute.

Michael Bradley and Herculez Gomez also scored this weekend for their respective clubs. Bradley got on the scoreboard in Borussia Moenchengladbach's 2-2 draw vs. Schalke 04 with one of his trademark late runs into the box, while Gomez calmly finished his first goal with Pachuca in the club's 3-1 triumph over Estudiantes.

    1. You honestly don’t have to be the best player on Fulham to make a move to Liverpool. Even then, he’s definitely one of the top 3 players in Fulhams squad.

    2. Buddle hasn’t really impressed since he came back from the WC. Maybe he gets a call-up, but if he doesn’t I wouldn’t be surprised.

    3. Everton will have to roll the dice and get Donovan. The consequences of relegation are worse than the cost of opening the wallet for LD in the next transfer window.

    4. That’s funny! Here’s to seeing Gomez & Torres in the starting lineup in the next MNT game…

What I WISH the lineup would be:

      ——–Altidore—-Gomez———
      —-Feilhaber———-Donovan—-
      ————–Torres————–
      ——Bradley———-Jones——
      -Gonzalez—Bocanegra—Cherundolo
      ————–Howard————–

I’d give Dempsey a break, or have him & Edu come on in the 2nd half….

    5. Moving back to the bench would be best case scenario for EJ. When Zamora, Dembele, AJ, Dempsey, and Gera are all available and healthy(plus Kamara is trying to get back in the mix)I don’t even see him making the bench.

    6. I think we (Americans) overrate players like Gooch and Dempsey when you compare their talent to others in their league and team. I remember when it first came out that Gooch was going to Milan there was a significant group of people who were positive he would be starting. I mean I don’t mind Gooch but starting at Milan?! Please people…

Same with Dempsey. Everyone was (and still is clamoring for him to move to a bigger club like Liverpool. Ummm…he’s not even the best player on Fulham!

    7. ahahahaha this is a ridiculous comment. He deserves better than league 2? on what type of merit? that he can’t take minutes from Davide Somma?

He should force a trade? I’m sure the Leeds directors would be shaking in their boots.

    8. Im sure the market is hot for a avg speed defender creeping up there in age and that has never proven he can shut down top talent.

Hopefully a championship side needs a “veteran leader”

    9. Grella deserves better than to play in League 2 and really it’s worse than playing for the reserves. He needs to force a trade or ask to be released in the winter transfer window.

    10. EJ’s getting time at Fulham, so I don’t see a ruch for EJ to go.

If EJ can even score just a couple EPL or Cup goals this season I could see a French or German squad giving EJ a chance for next season. Once guys are back from injury at Fulham, EJ is back stuck on the bench there.

So EJ may move next summer but I don’t see Hughes letting him go mid-season since the squad is so injury-depleted.

    11. Yeah I think Spector burnt his last straw at West Ham, he’s done there. Time to move to Germany or France if he can find a taker….after the year he’s had (miserable), he may not fin much demand either.

    12. I do agree Gooch deserves a chance but I don’t get why people are so sure he will ever actually get it. Milan has had plenty of chances to play him with all their injuries and other competitions.

    13. Holden will be the Yank with the best season.

In January, I see Donovan heading back to Everton. Seriously at this point they will pay the big bucks for him.

Goodson will head to Denmark or Holland especially if he keeps scoring.

Bedoya is heading to Holland or Spain or anywhere but Sweden.

      Spector is benched all season

Dempsey will score 9 league goals this season

EJ will leave for Greece or Switzerland.

    14. Good for benny he just needs to trash everyone so somone can get him out of there come nxt transfer window. And what’s up with gooch? I think. Gooch is a better defender than yepas and yet yepas makes bench. I just don’t get t. Man I can’t wait for davis to be back

    15. If Findley is on the roster for the Gold Cup, i think we should boycott.

Altidore is a given. Maybe even EJ as a sub. Gomez for sure. Buddle too. But no Findley. Bring a 4th or 5th striker like Conor Doyle or some other unknown.

    16. Look at his track record. Couldn’t compete for a first team role at hamburg and often couldn’t start for Derby, much of that was cause he was injured. Looked decent in most matches for the NT and Aarhus. I think Aarhus tried to play hardball. Because he was due a move to even a relegation fodder team in Spain.

    17. 1) Still back from injury
2)Coach may not feel he’s ready yet
      3) Bigger names ahead of him
      4) He’s an American
      5) Moved from the Belgium league

Many excuses but Gooch will get a chance.

    18. He should stay. He will always start for Everton. If he goes to Arsenal he’ll start 80% of the time though he would be an improvement of Almunia. Howard is a LEGEND for Everton and could play for another 5 years no doubt as no1

Plus Everton will always finish top7 and be in Europa League.

    19. Gooch, if you want to play, at least get dressed! I mean what coach is going to pick a player who doesn’t have his uniform on! Goodness…

Seriously tho, any news on why he can’t make it into the squad? That D has looked pretty poor so far.

    20. i hope to see a few yanks get moves to bigger clubs in january. some players are really making a case for a big transfer, while others just need to get playing time and should go to a more suitable club or league if you ask me

    21. Hard to believe no one thought Benny was worth buying this summer. And speaking of Americans moving during the winter transfer window, I bet Arsenal’s gonna be all over Tim Howard.

    22. I doubt Grella will play much for Leeds. He’s turned down two loan deals to League Two clubs because he doesn’t want to play that low and Grayson (leeds manager) is very frustrated. It was a big topic in a recent press conference.

Grayson says Mike tells him he wants to play but then he turns down loans, Grayson doesn’t get it. He said he dropped down a few levels as a player and it was beneficial for him.
