  1. Read my post again there was a hint of sarcasm in my first sentence. Everyone in the world knows that the U.S. takes in the most immigrants and for the most part intertwine with one another. When my great great grandparents came to this country they adopted the flag and colors of this nation. When I see people on the streets wearing the jersey of another nation I engage them in conversation being that I am a huge soccer fan. 9 times out of 10 they are third generation Americans who grew up in Orange County or elsewhere but for whatever reason refuse to back their own national team in the very country that they grew up in and live.

The ad would have been more compelling if the none English speakers were wearing U.S. jerseys showing that yes we are diverse but united as one.

  2. Have you been to a NATS game recently? How many NATS jerseys do you see compared to the the visiting team? Thats one reason I cheer HARD for the U.S…We’re ALWAYS the underdog, even in our own statdiums!

Bring me your rired, your poor, your huddled masses…and maybe some day they’ll actually cheer for ‘our’ team.

  3. I’m not our country’s Greatest Patriot – I’m just a guy from East Lansing, MI, but that video gave me chills and made me burst with pride.

USA 2022! And let’s not just be the host nation, let’s be the winning team, as well!
