Clint Dempsey scored his first goal of the Premiership campaign on Saturday, netting a second-half equalizer to keep Fulham on its unbeaten start to the season.

Earning his third start of the season in Fulham's 1-1 draw against Blackburn Rovers, Dempsey rescued a point for the Cottagers by heading home a cross from new teammate Carlos Salcido. Dempsey did not go the distance in the match and was replaced by Eddie Johnson in the 78th minute.

The goal saw Fulham remain in the upper half of the Premiership's standings. The Cottagers are now in sixth place with seven points from five matches.
