European Championship 2012 qualifying and international friendlies comprise an intriguing slate of soccer on Tuesday.
Much of the focus for Euro qualifying will be on Group G, as Switzerland hosts England (2:45 ET, ESPN3.com) just days after Wayne Rooney became the latest member of the Three Lions to be involved in a sex scandal. Rooney is in the starting XI for Fabio Capello, as expected.
Argentina hosts World Cup champion Spain (3:55 p.m., ESPN Deportes/ESPN3.com) in the high-profile friendly of the day, but six CONCACAF teams are also in action (Mexico, Canada, Honduras, Trinidad & Tobago, Jamaica, Panama). A seventh team in the region, Guatemala, fell to Japan earlier in the day, 2-1.
If you will be watching any or all of Tuesday's action, please feel free to share any thoughts, play-by-play and opinions in the comments section below. Enjoy the games!
how do you figure?
haha yeah we definitely rolled out the 4-3-3 (didn’t see the game, but a fair assumption) and put three of the most in form world class forwards on the pitch at once, and had the UEFA player of the year on the bench.
Findley > Messi
Argentina was so much better than Spain it’s not even funny.
