Real Madrid could deal the death blow to Ajax Amsterdam on Tuesday, as an Ajax loss coupled with an AC Milan victory over AJ Auxerre would put Madrid and Milan through to the knockout stage from the treacherous Group G in the UEFA Champions League.
Arsenal, coming off a bad loss to Tottenham over the weekend, looks to cement its place in the knockout stage with a victory in Portugal over Sporting Braga, which is playing for its Champions League life, currently three points behind the Gunners and Shakhtar Donetsk in Group H.
Marseille already kicked off the day with a thorough, 3-0 victory over Spartak Moscow to climb into second place behind Chelsea in Group F.
