It's a big day in the UEFA Champions League for two teams featuring U.S. men's national team players, as Schalke and Rangers fight to keep their knockout-stage dreams alive on Wednesday.
Maurice Edu is slated to miss Rangers' crucial match with Manchester United as he recovers from his minor knee injury, and the Scottish champions will need to fill that void in order to keep pace with Valencia, whom they trail by two points for second place in Group C. A Rangers loss and a Valencia victory over Bursaspor would eliminate Edu's side.
Over in Group B, Jermaine Jones' Schalke could clinch a spot in the knockout stage with a victory over Lyon and a Benfica loss to Hapoel Tel Aviv; however, the German side could also fall to third place with a loss and a Benfica victory.
Rubin Kazan already defeated FC Copenhagen on Wednesday, 1-0, to keep its hopes in Group D alive. Here's the TV/Internet schedule for the day's remaining games (all start at 2:45 p.m.):

barcafan not even watching his team play. hmm. He likes to complain about fouls and that is about it.
Dumb comment, he played advantage (Fabio was kicked in the chest/face while heading the ball), there was none (he didn’t score), so he gave a penalty…I knew I’d find a United hater on here complaining about the penalty.
Oh my god, you cannot give a penalty after the shot is already taken! Give a yellow card, but the shot was already away.
United being handed a win.
*no* wide play
Rangers problem is there is now wide play its so narrow weiss, keeps dribbiling pass the ball son.
I don’t Know whats up with Man U, they look like crap.
Kenny Miller is terrible.
Terrible. I could have scored or assisted on the chances he has been given so far.
Van Der Saar got the ball, but it really looked like he kicked his leg out in that tackle.
Show of hands, which game is better right now because the Man U v Rangers game is the MLS Cup all over again.
beauty of a goal by modric
Rooney hits the crossbar.
Nani sails one wide over the net. Rangers need Edu back asap.
Rangers need Edu back asap.
Just barely. That’s some Italian-grade defense they’re keeping up.
Rangers keeping level with Man U.
