Snowfall in England led to a plethora of match postponements in the Premier League last weekend, but today's Manchester City-Everton match has been spared and will offer us some entertainment this afternoon (3pm, ESPN2).

U.S. national team goalkeeper Tim Howard will be in net for Everton, but the story of the day will be Carlos Tevez, who will be in the spotlight after submitting a transfer request only to pull it back today. Tevez will have his chance to win back Manchester City fans by leading the Citizens to a win that would put them into first place in the Premier League heading into Christmas.

  2. What the hell is Mchanana or whatever his name is talking about?

Tim Howard would love if he shot from there all the time? That shot was three inches from going in from near the corner flag.

  4. It is matches like this that makes hating Manchester City so incredibly easy.

The players act like petulant children, whining and screaming at every opportunity. The officiating is piss poor, home cooking for City, and there is always constant drama with the countless prima donnas they buy.

  5. And that is shameful right there. The official has completely ruined the match now.

Just tossing yellows and reds at Everton that are undeserved.

  6. Zaballeta handballs it and then embellishes from almost zero contact and he gets a free kick.

Feeling for Everton right now, getting home cooked.

  7. Everton’s field players have blocked so many shots tonite they look like a hockey team! “real blood and thunder stuff, this one!” love it!

  8. This comment is all over the place. Granted I missed the opening 15, but Everton look a class and a half below for every bit that I’ve watched. A few defensive lapses do not make 11 children who can’t play in the cold.

  9. Not to diminish the talents of Man City, but they are acting like absolute children right now.

The cheap shots on Everton players, the inability to play in the cold, the lack of trying/marking in any manner.
