  1. I thought this since his US debut, and he’s only gone about convincing me all the more with every watching, he’s already one of our best players. It would be shocking if he’s not starting.

  2. What impresses me more than anything about Lichaj is his confidence. I noticed it when he played with the USMNT, and I noticed it today. Barring major injury, I believe he will be our starting RB by the time the ’14 WC arrives.

  3. I am happy Pires didn’t come to the MLS he was worthless for Villa today and he would have been on the ground and complaining more than Karl Fredrik Ljungberg did the last two years.

  5. Well…Spurs take that. Too bad–Villa looked great in the second half.

Awesome game for Eric Lichaj, though. Wow. He was thrown into the deep end and he more than delivered.

  6. I’m glad they pulled a goal back to make a game out of it, but if you noticed that was more of a shot/cross towards goal, in fact if Collins hits it I’m guessing he misses like all the other crosses in which someone got a touch on it.

Tottenham put on a clinic on playing with 10 men.

Bale was given too much space and I can’t believe the defenders gave him the option to cut back, he’s left footed make him go wide and use his so called amazing wide play and speed to see if he can cross or shoot from distance with his right, but don’t let him cut inside?

Wow if that went in for Lichaj would of shut up that Kward dude that’s been arguing with Ives on Twitter about Lichaj having a good game. That enough offense & Defense for you Kward? Contained Bale and store it, got fouled and still got the ball out well past midfield then almost scored the tying goal?

  7. They haven’t figured out that the cross from Albrighton cross from the right when everyone is just waiting for it just won’t work? Switch the field or overlap with your full backs to get something? At this point what do you lose?
