Former Los Angeles Galaxy striker Edson Buddle got his European career off to a great start on Friday, scoring a goal in FC Ingolstadt's 1-1 draw vs. Duisburg.
Buddle started and played 88 minutes and looked to give relegation-threatened Ingolstadt a big boost with his late goal, but Duisburg found a late equalizer to spoil Buddle's debut.
Buddle's goal, his first in Europe, came against fellow American David Yelldell, who was in goal for Duisburg.
Ingolstadt returns to action on January 28th against Oberhausen.
What do you think of Buddle's debut? Think he can help Ingolstadt stay up? Still hoping he somehow winds up back in MLS sooner rather than later?
