If you're hoping to see some Americans making their debuts with new clubs, then this is a good weekend for Soccer on TV.
Jermaine Jones will make his Blackburn debut in a match airing on Fox Soccer Channel, while Robbie Findley's Nottingham Forest debut is airing on Saturday on Fox Soccer Plus.
England isn't the only place to see Americans in action. Ricardo Clark will look to keep getting minutes when Eintracht Frankfurt faces Hamburg on GolTV, while Herculez Gomez, Jose Torres and Pachuca will be playing on Galavision on Saturday night.
The match of the weekend will take place later on Saturday night, when the United States takes on Chile in the first match of the new year for the national team.

Northern virginia. Youre right about the city though, only comvast and that other one.
Channel 46 in S. California, on Direct TV, where I live….
On Driect TV yes…
Finley is making his debut? He’s not even list on the roster for the game.
what channel on direct tv is telefutura?
Time Warner in San Diego has both in HD. Agreed it doesn’t look quite as sharp as ESPN or the major networks. Still looks darn good though, no complaints here
Where in DC can you get Cox or FIOS? I thought Comcast and RCN were the only options (at least up her in the NE)…
I both are available in the VA/MD suburbs, but not in the District itself…
that control*
I’ve never seen him play so I can’t really give an opinion, but it seems like hes pretty highly regarded as a U20 player
Unfortunately there are things called contracts the control rights to broadcast games. ESPN simply doesn’t have the rights to many games yet.
If you can have it, DirecTV is the only way to go. FSC, FSP, and GolTV in HD, not too mention all of the extra Champions League, UEFA Cup, and La Liga games that aren’t on the regular channels.
Hoyos isn’t the brightest… He’ll never make the senior argentine squad
ALL YOUR SOCCER ARE BELONG TO US!
i didn’t think Cox or Fios was offered in DC
DirecTV people. It is the truth.
I get FSC HD because I have DISH Network. This is probably the only good thing about DISH.
I miss your top 10 list
thanks to Verizon Fios, no I do not
#@(% you verizon
michael hoyos is on the argentina u20 that is playing vs venezuela…..looks like he is out the door….oh well, you win some, you lose some….
US SOCCER has it listed at 7 PM Pacific.

The sun sets in the East?
I think he is trolling us.
Sure does doesn’t he?
Buddle! What a handful he’s been today…
Toooooor Buddle!!!
And there it is. Goal Buddle!
Buddle definitely looking dangerous. Just forced a corner, and a few minutes earlier he fired a shot straight at the keeper from 11 yards out.
dude…i hope you are joking.
In DC…Cox Cable has both in HD, but Plus is like an additional $13/month. For FIOS, FSC is NOT in HD because they are lazy (channel 584 is available!). Not sure about Plus, it’s $13 more a month just for that channel.
Ingolstadt keeper looks a lot like Friedel. Freaked me out for a second . . .
Buddle starting to get comfortable up top at Ingolstadt. Still 0-0, with Buddle having two chances on goal with his head in first half. SHould have connected on second chance.
Buddle looking pretty good and active – not getting much service, though.
Time Warner Austin has both in HD but the quality of the HD is no where near ESPN.
Isn’t the USA-Chile match at 4ET/5CT/6MT/7PT?
whatever happened to ESPN2 showing a La Liga match on Sundays at Noon?
I swear Espn2 needs to show at least 2 PL games every Saturday and 2 La Liga matches every Sunday. Or Bundesliga. Be committed to content. Fans will watch. Don’t let FSC or Galavision take all the control.
That Aussie-Iraqi match should be really good. Political undertones as well.
In Portland Maine, I get Plus in HD but not FSC. I think it’s because I called every week when we didn’t get Plus at all and they were so annoyed they ramped it up to HD to make sure I stopped calling.
I should prolly complain about FSC not being in 3D and without Smell-O-Vision.
does anybody actually get Fox Soccer Plus or FSC in HD? stupid comcast.
