With Real Madrid's recent slip-up and Barcelona's continued dominance in La Liga, the Spanish League title race is in danger of being decided before the month of March. It will be up to another Madrid team to try and keep things interesting today.

Atletico Madrid is the next club that will attempt to stop Barcelona when the two attack-minded sides square off in the day's featured match.

Today also features several key matches for American players, such as Stuart Holden, who will lead Bolton against Tottenham, and the American duo of Herculez Gomez and Jose Torres, who are both poised to start in Pachuca's match against Monterrey.

Michael Bradley's Aston Villa debut will have to wait. With just one training session under his belt, Bradley is a spectator for Villa's showdown vs. Fulham (though you must admit, the picture we had up earlier of Bradley and Dempsey brought back some good memories).

If you will be watching today's matches, please feel free to share your thoughts, opinions and some play-by-play in the comments section below.

Enjoy the action (and go to the jump for today's TV Schedule):

  1. Here’s the shocker here people: Lichaj is actually a better DEFENSIVE right back than Walker. Walker leaves people wide open (see Man U game and this Fulham game) and can’t cross worth a damn. But, he is a farrrr better scoring threat than Lichaj, and so since goals get the gold, he will start for the rest of the season.
