AC Milan will try to put an end to Italy's string of poor results in European soccer, but in order to do so, it'll have to come back from a 1-0 deficit at White Hart Lane.

Tottenham-Milan (2:45 p.m., Fox Soccer Channel/Fox Deportes) is the marquee match of the day, with the winner of the two-legged tie advancing to the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals. Schalke and Valencia will also battle it out (2:45 p.m., Fox Soccer Plus/FoxSoccer.tv) for a spot among the final eight teams in Europe's premiere competition. They tied their first leg in Spain, 1-1.

Also in action today is Tim Howard and Everton, who will look to keep the pressure on relegation-threatened Birmingham City in their Premier League match (3 p.m., FoxSoccer.tv).

If you will be watching any or all of Wednesday's games, please feel free to share any thoughts, opinions and some play-by-play in the comments section below. Enjoy the action.

  1. I’d just like to thank Fox Soccer Plus for spoiling the result of the Everton game for me. I taped it and just got home from a long day at work – and their bottom ticker thing was running throughout the game and showed the table, and when I saw Everton listed in 9th with an extra point, I knew what the result was. They don’t run that on the weekend replays as far as I can remember. I know it wasn’t Champions League game, but I was looking forward to it. Bleh

  2. I saw Prince Boateng at the Casino after they beat the USA. He was getting LOTS of attention but generally chilling out (and not drinking) while the rest of his teammates went to Party Town.

  3. Ives, I cant believe no mention of your compatriot Farfan schooling Valencia. Too much ballrubbing on English teams, man.

  4. Why does Wynalda have a job? Did Fox really not learn from his time at ESPN? I have to mute the television every time it goes to the Fox studio.

  5. I am also very upset I’m not watching one of my favorite players in the world, Gareth Bale torch Milan down the wing.

  6. Christopher Sullivan always mispronounces words, its so damn annoying. He just said, “Fla-ma-nee” instead of “Fla-me-nee”

I too speak Spanish and English and find this very annoying. Am I alone here?
