After starting a trial with Sporting Kansas City on March 22nd, Aurélien Collin will be added to Peter Vermes' squad after impressing in the three week period.
The Frenchman makes his way to Kansas from Portuguese side Vitória FC where the 25 year old defender scored three goals in 33 appearances. Collin has done his tour of Europe after plying his trade in Scotland, Greece, England and Portugal, and the experience could be a welcome addition to the KC back line.
Collin might be thrown right into action in Ohio against the Columbus Crew. Kansas City is coming off a bye last week and its thrilling 3-3 draw with the Vancouver Whitecaps so the back line should be well rested. Kansas City did play the Houston Dynamo three days after that last MLS match, so an Aurélien Collin appearance could be on the cards.
they have no room to make any moves and i wouldnt say signing back ups pushes them ahead of LA
And what are LA and SEA doing? Jack Squat! Other teams are passing them up big time…
Ryan Smith is back?
