Tim Howard's summer tour has another U.S. destination.
The U.S. national team goalkeeper and his club, Everton, will play the Philadelphia Union at PPL Park on July 20 in a friendly, the MLS side announced on Wednesday. Everton had already signed on to play a friendly against D.C. United at RFK Stadium on July 23.
Tickets are included in the Union's season-ticket holder packages and will go on sale to the public on May 9.
Between the CONCACAF Gold Cup and Everton's friendlies, Howard (barring a transfer) will be in Detroit, Tampa, Kansas City, D.C., Chester and potentially Houston and Pasadena for the Gold Cup semifinals and finals.
What do you think about the friendly? Planning to attend?

Japanese, Australian, French or German teams would be fantastic
Doesnt make much sense, besides last year they havent been around since 2004-05 preseason. they have been in asia and africa.
Barring a transfer? Just stating the obvious or are there transfer rumors I haven’t heard about?
I’ll be there. As Roberto said glad it’s Everton as I’m tired of seeing Man u & Celtic always playing on the East Coast.
well, I’m hoping to attend…
any other EPL or European or even S American team playing friendlies in NY/Nj besides boring old Man U? how many more times do we have see the same team? It’s like eating the same dish all the time….mashed potatoes again? I’d rather see Arsenal, Inter or any other Serie A EPL La Liga, or conmebol team for a change.
