LA Galaxy vs. D.C. United: Match Night Commentary

No Landon Donovan or Donovan Ricketts tonight, but the LA Galaxy will look to continue their four-game winning streak against D.C. United.

United are dealing with the absence of Dejan Jakovic and an injury to Dax McCarty, but will be eager to pick up a win on the road against a very difficult Los Angeles side. The Galaxy are currently the league's form side with the four straight wins, but will be without several key players including Juan Pablo Angel, who was a late game scratch.

SBI will be providing commentary from tonight's match so please feel free to share your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below.

  1. If Ruud Gullet managed this team, they would dominate with attractive football. They now have an impenetrable defense, especially when Ricketts is in there…

  2. If Arena didn’t play such boring bunker ball LA this would have been a wide open game…LA can only score on set pieces

  3. Nuts! great through ballhoby Wolff on that Davies’ breakaway. Just wonder if Davies’ soccer IQ was off by not unleashing a shot and instead trying to go around the goalie. That said, his run and pace were terrific. DC should be up 2-0 and is giving away points here.
