The seventh game of the Stanley Cup finals isn't the only Massachusetts-Canada battle Wednedsay night.

The New England Revolution welcomes Toronto FC to Gillette Stadium (8 p.m., MLS Direct Kick/MatchDay Live) for the first of two home matches in MLS Week 14 with hopes of snapping a four-game losing streak. The Reds, meanwhile, look to build off their come-from-behind-twice draw at Los Angeles, with fit striker Alan Gordon in good form for the visitors.

The Copa Libertadores final between Penarol and Santos also kicks off Wednesday night, with the Uruguayan side hosting the opening leg of the tournament championship against Neymar & Co. (8:50 p.m., Fox Deportes).

If you will be watching any of Wednedsay night's action, please feel free to share any thoughts, opinions and some play-by-play in the comments section below. Enjoy the games.

  1. How many? Millions of Americans and thousands of well paid professional athletes don’t seem to mind.

Typical football-colored glasses. Not everything has to look like Sky Sports.

  2. Parity at the expense of quality. MLS = ‘fake’ league. Typical American “fabrication” of entertainment. @HadEnough! You are spot on my friend. Anyone else see the meaningless season grinding on. What the hell is anyone playing for if there’s a playoff at the end and everyone gets in????

  3. That was easily the worst piece of SH*T I’ve ever seen on a plastic field. There couldn’t have been more than 1,000 people there; the atmosphere is akin to a funeral home; their so-called “shirt sponsor” is actually a non-money making freebie for Krafty; the coach had nuts but now leaves them at home when it comes to the front office; they’ve made no serious acquisitions in the way of DP (and f*ckers, don’t tell me they have), the so-called “ownership” which I will re-name “the jailers” or “hostage takers” refuse to part with a dime for anything; and I won’t even start about the stadium because we all know as long as that lying, two-faced as* clown owns both the Pats and the Revs, there will never be any stadium downtown. He needs to fill his tacky CBS wunderland of consumption with as many suburbanites as possible. THIS TEAM IS A JOKE. I would rather have another city (who deserve it more) have the team than to continue on this way. Sincerely, a seriously depressed fan since 1996.

  4. This is getting really disgraceful! The commissioner needs to have a chat with all of the coaches and players and tell them that if they would like to continue having jobs they need to start playing and coaching like it means something.

Why would people want to continue watching this garbage?

  5. A week after looking so good, these team lacked the creativity to score. The game was fast-paced with end-to-end action, but no finishing…MLS should just eliminate these Wed games because these games often end up with a lack of scoring.

  6. Are you being sarcastic? Yes their moving back and forth fast but that’s because each side keeps on losing the ball after a single long pass or two.
