  1. Clint has scored 12 goals and assisted on 3. That is nearly 25% of the 49 league goals that Fulham has scored this season. He’s a SUPERHERO

  2. “Cherundolo has to be the most underappreciated of the current USMNT squad”

If there was a “most underrated” award he would win unanimously.

  3. Second US Nats video in a row talking about how hard the first six months were in England — Tim Howard talked about how he struggled big time at Man U.

Point is, I wouldn’t write off M. Bradley at Villa just yet. There weren’t as many blogs and websites around to chronicle and nitpick every day of Dempsey and Howard when they first started.

Even if Bradley doesn’t end up at Villa, there are other EPL teams interested. Give him a year and he’ll be fine.

(Much better than the overrated joke of the Scottish league *cough* Mo Edu *cough*)

  4. Cherundolo has to be the most underappreciated of the current USMNT squad. He’s not flashy and he doesn’t score goals because that’s not his job, but he always makes his team better. I think the next US jersey I get will be Stevie C (I already have McBride, O’Brien, and Dempsey).

  5. What’s this I’m hearing about G. Rossi to Barca!?
If that’s so, doesn’t that mean Jozy would and should get more playing time i.e starting?

  6. In my opinion Dempsey is the best American field player – and that definitely is not meant as a diss to Donovan.

Donovan is the face of American soccer, no doubt. Dempsey is the driving force, though. Also, my favorite USMNT player.

  7. go on Demps! I think he is underappreciated by Americans sometimes. People don’t realize how hard it is to prove to a new manager, almost every single year, as he has done at Fulham. He has been able to adapt every year, produce every year, often in huge situations. He will end up as perhaps one of the best international USA players at the end of his career.
Get it done at the Gold Cup DEUCE!

  8. Dempsey’s a stud. I can’t figure out how the casual US fan overlooks Dempsey (and Cherundolo) but he’s every but as good as Howard and Donovan.

  9. Of all of Clint’s Fulham coaches, Hughes was the most effusive in his praise of Clint. Hodgson seemed to deliberately avoid praising Clint, while pumping up Zamora. I always figured that was because Hodgson wanted to sell Zamora for a big windfall, but was hoping noone would notice Clint, because he needed him.

The interview did seem a bit wistful as if he may be on his way to newer pastures, after 4 and a half seasons.
