Torres said the same thing after moving from Atletico Madrid to Liverpool.
Anyone know what Bradley is referring to when he mentions “Some people saying I’m too intense or too serious?” Was he criticized for this by teammates in Holland, Germany, or MLS? I can’t imagine a US player would say something, especially when his Dad is the coach.
One thing that is clearly evident is his maturity. If one compares the manner in which this young man carries himself, as opposed to his young hot head days, one can see a person who is willing to work hard to improve on flaws. It is impressive. He clearly engages the profession and is willing to work hard. If only that could be the case with other young US stars that have, perhaps, more natural talent.
Here’s the gist of what Mikey said: “It’s hard…uh…when you join a team midseason…uh…the Bundesliga is more tactical…uh…England is fast…uh…when i drive to training…uh…i feel grateful…uh.
Hopefully a new manager like Martinez will thrust him in and let him sink or swim. He’s proven in Europe he can play. Villa will be forecast at the bottom half for sure if they lose Young and others, Mikey deserves a chance.
Can’t watch the video at work, but does he talk of the premier quality of EPL benches?
Definitely his father’s son. I guess all the meetings in camps are bound to rub off on anyone, but you can here an almost identical cadence in his speech to Bob. I hope MB can find a good home for next season, he deserves to be playing.
Haha. He seems like a good dude. Honestly though, you can see the influence from his dad. He really takes his time and thinks about what he is going to say. It seems goofy at times in this video b/c what he says is so simple.
is the air thinner over there? like specifically directly around that chair? i love this guy, but check for a pulse?
“He really takes his time and thinks about what he is going to say”
Most places that would be considered a virtue.

He’s the first player I can recall specifically saying that the game is a step faster in the EPL then the BL.
the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree

It was just uploaded today. A small portion of it was part of the “MNT in England: Life on Loan” video US Soccer uploaded a week ago.
Ives this is old.
Martinez is staying at Wigan.

Absolutely agree.
I love Mikey on the field, but man that was the longest 5:39 video I’ve ever seen.
