Carlos Tevez could be returning to Corinthians.
According to reports out of England, the Brazilian power has made Manchester City a £35 million offer for the Argentine forward, who played there from 2004-2006 prior to joining the Premier League.
Tevez' departure from Manchester City seems to be a certainty, but a major team in Europe was expected to be his next destination. Instead, Tevez, who scored 21 goals in league play for Manchester City last season and helped lead the team to the FA Cup, could make a return to his native South America.

RED BULLS TO FIELD RESERVES IN USOC
The U.S. Open Cup quarterfinals commence Tuesday night, and if the New York Red Bulls are to progress, they'll have to do so with a reserve-heavy squad.
The New York Post reports that the Red Bulls will field mostly reserves against the Chicago Fire, with Mehdi Ballouchy being the lone starter in the mix. Chris Albright is expected to make his return from injury for New York.
The Red Bulls play in Chicago at 8:30 p.m., with a live stream provided on the Fire's website. Other Open Cup quarterfinals Tuesday include Sporting Kansas City hosting the Richmond Kickers and FC Dallas hosting Real Salt Lake.
The Seattle Sounders play the Los Angeles Galaxy in the final quarterfinal on Wednesday night.
ADLER NEEDS SURGERY
Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Rene Adler is slated to have knee surgery for an injury to a tendon on Wednesday and is unlikely to be ready for the start of the season.
The news benefits American goalkeeper David Yelldell, who just signed with Leverkusen as the club's backup after starting for 2. Bundesliga side MSV Duisburg last season.
