Go Go USA!!
Hopefully it doesn’t come back to bite us in the butt…
yes…this gives the players who are on form to be on the field together from jump, and Pia’s still got flexibility with subs and tactics
Ya I don’t know about that move back to Buehler either, but hopefully she’ll keep possesion instead of just playing long balls.
Really? That comment to Wambach? Baka da ro…
Not sure going back to Buehler is the best thing to do…
W/ Rapinoe and Cheney on the pitch the US has tactical flexibility as the game goes forward. Cheney can drop into the midfield or out wide. Rapinoe can also help out with possession in the center of the field, if need be. Unfortunate for A-Rod
ESPN says it’s Cheney up top instead of Rodriguez, with Rapinoe on the wing (which makes sense).
I might have actually subbed Morgan for ARod and Rapino on the wing with Cheney in the middle for either Lloyd or Boxx but glad ARod is sitting.
They pulled ARod from the lineup for Rapino which makes sense although could also have switched up the midfield of Boxx and Lloyd which hasn’t been that great…
Haha I love that Heather O’Reilly’s face is always stuck in that grimace when she’s on the pitch
Good luck to both sides–matches with storylines like are so great for the sport!
If Japan keeps their current form and USA keeps their finishing efficiency this will be an epic match. Too bad I’m working through the match and will haver to wait until the replay.
Gambare Nippon! Gambare Nadeshiko! Kuso Tare Wambach!
BANZAI!!!
